The mission of the Mahoning/Columbiana Medical Reserve Corps is to establish, organize, and implement a local Medical Reserve Corps unit that is appropriately trained to react to incidents occurring in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties.
What is Mahoning/Columbiana Medical Reserve Corps?
The National Medical Reserve Corps program was created as a part of Citizen Corps in2002 at the request of President Bush to assist communities during emergencies.
The Mahoning/Columbiana Medical Reserve Corps was establishing December 2006 and is a group of health care professionals trained to support the local response agencies.
